  I did the same as well and researched the interwebs about solar powered gate openers. I went with the HD dual swing away gate opener and brought the addtional items.
  The gate lock unit, The single RF remote and the 3G/4G intercom system and an additional key fob. Dont forget the gate stop if you have swing away gates.
  Also brought a sim card from Aldi $15 starter pack 365day expiry for the intercom system added phone and ring tone.
  My neighbors are envious of my setup and its so great to stay in the car and drive in and out. The set up parameters are easy to program with customized options as well.

  Hi all, I spent a fair bit of time researching solar gate openers and this product from Solar Gate Openers seemed to be the one for me both in quality, price and apparent ease of installation. I contacted Erik and from there it was very easy to order and arrange delivery. Now, I'm one of those people who is a bit handy but always seem to do something to stuff things up so I am very happy to report that this installation process was very easy. I had a look at the tutorial disk that came with the kit and from there it was straight sailing. I installed all the hardware and then wired up the solar panel and gate motor and then did the programming and away it went first time. This is a very good piece of kit and Erik was great to deal with. Erik and his company are highly recommended.

  We couldn't be happier with our Solar Powered Electric Gate Opener.
  Erik was most helpful from start to finish. My sons (both being tradesman) are hard to impress but the quality of these gate openers and all the accompanying accessories impressed even them. We feel much more secure now and the distance the remotes work from means we can activate the gate from anywhere on our property. Cant fault it or the service.
